Learn how to dye fabric with beautiful patterns and colors using various shibori techniques. We will explore using colorful fiber reactive dyes, as well as indigo. A series of demonstrations will give insight into ways to use shibori dyed and other fabrics in artistic projects including simple patchwork, collage, and stitching. There will be plenty of open studio time for each student to develop their creative voice and visits to the museum will provide inspiration. Basic supplies will be provided, however, students are encouraged to bring specific supplies to achieve their artistic vision.

Please note that there will be no class on Nov. 30.

Registration for this class closes on Oct. 5.
