The Hawaii Burlesque Festival celebrates 10 extraordinary years of the best of burlesque in Hawaii! Join the glamorous fun with two renditions of Run the Jewels at the Doris Duke Theatre October 11 and 12.
Step into a world of glitz, glamor and intrigue as this captivating burlesque show transports you inside a jewel heist where seduction and deception intertwine. Featuring an all-star cast of Hawai‘i burlesque performers, Run the Jewels features breathtaking burlesque, delightful drag, hilarious hijinks and tantalizing mystery. Follow our sexy troupe of cunning thieves as they plot to steal a luxurious museum's most prized gems, using a live burlesque show as the perfect cover!
Attendees will begin their evening with a cocktail reception starting at 6pm. Enjoy your libations in the beautiful Honolulu Museum of Art’s Central Courtyard while experiencing the thrilling beauty and strength of the members of Volary Aerial Burlesque, who will perform on an apparatus specially designed for the event at 6:15pm each night before the main event begins in the theatre at 7pm.
Our favorite emcees, the dynamic duo of Hunter Down and Tita Titsling are joined this year by the stunning songstress Candi Shell!
