Experience paintings, pastels, and prints by the woman who helped define the Impressionist movement. The exhibition takes you on a captivating journey through the six-decade career of Mary Cassatt, the only American to be a member of the French Impressionists. HoMA has a long history of collecting Cassatt—her print The Banjo Lesson was part of the museum’s initial gift of works from founder Anna Rice Cooke, and is included in the show.
