Educator workshops
Educator workshops integrate a variety of curriculum topics and skills through direct experiences with art and artmaking. HoMA’s educator workshops provide opportunities for teachers to exchange ideas and collaborate while developing expertise for creating art with students. It is also a chance for educators to take time for themselves, recharge and rediscover the joy of making art. These workshops continue HoMA’s mission to serve as an educational resource for our local community.

The Art of Planning: Art All Year Long
May 10, 2025, 2–5pm
Begin next school year with art right from the start. Join us on May 10, from 2-5pm for our last educator workshop this school year. The Art of Planning: Art All Year Long is an opportunity for educators to consider ways to enrich and enliven the classroom learning experience through art. During this workshop, educators will be able to explore ways to incorporate HoMA’s resources into their lesson plans, share ideas, receive guidance and support from museum staff, try out art activities used during school tours, experiment with a variety of art materials, browse the Lending Collection, and visit galleries and the library. Make art a part of all you teach!
