Cedric Hudson

Cedric Hudson, the VP of Mens’ Design at Fabletics, Los Angeles, is an innovative designer and artist whose work pushes creative boundaries. He is the driving force behind Fabletics' cutting-edge designs that redefine athletic wear. 

An apparel designer by trade, his experience includes collaborations with Adidas, Reebok, and 10 years with Adidas designing on various key teams, including the iconic YEEZY line by Kanye West. His designs for James Harden have also graced the pages of GQ magazine. 

Founder of his brand and storytelling vessel, Contemporary Athletics, Hudson’s ambition is to create pieces that are a catalyst for dialogue, and to enter a creative space where functional objects speak beyond their primary use.

However, the entrepreneur’s creative work is not limited to fashion. His radio show, Loungin’, for Portland radio station KMHD 89.1 Jazz Radio, provided a weekly community spotlight and sanctuary during the pandemic. Hudson weaves his innovative spirit into every aspect of design, including his award-winning furniture design, the Greensboro Chair. Crafted with passion and purpose, this chair pays homage to the historic 1960 protest, bridging the gap between design, history, storytelling, and social justice.
