Lesa Griffith
Chief Communications Officer
Lesa Griffith joined HoMA in 2023, bringing with her more than 25 years of communications and publishing experience—10 of them as a previous director of communications at the museum. From 2007 to 2018, she managed the museum’s rebranding as the Honolulu Museum of Art, the birth of its social media program, and creation of its first professionally developed website. Before returning to the museum, she oversaw communications for the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival, and held editorial positions at the Honolulu Advertiser, Time Out New York, and the World Wide Fund for Nature in Switzerland. Born and raised on O‘ahu, Lesa also spent formative years in Ghana, Zaïre, Jordan, and Indonesia. She is a graduate of the University of Hawai‘i and a proud yonsei.
