Maryanne Ito is a singer-songwriter based in Honolulu. She has a panoramic vision for enlightening the world through music, capturing the essence of various genres, from hip-hop to soul, reggae to Jazz. Ito is a Nā Hōkū Hanohano and Pacific Music Award winner. For her, music is an outlet for creativity and a means to display strength through vulnerability. She joined Soundshop in 2022 and encourages every student who participates in the program to use music as a tool for their self-expression and self-discovery.
