Reed Vickerman

Chief Financial Officer Reed Vickerman joined HoMA in January 2025. He comes to the museum from the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, where he was chief financial officer. He also served in leadership roles at the San Diego Museum of Art and the New Children’s Museum in San Diego. Before lending his expertise to the museum world, he spent twenty years in the for-profit sector in operations and finance in biotech and hi-tech at companies such as Amylin, PwC, General Atomics, and Hewlett-Packard. He serves as the board treasurer for Studio Culture, a San Diego nonprofit that provides affordable artist studio space. As a member of the Port of San Diego’s Art, Culture and Design Committee he helped select artists for the city’s USS Midway Freedom Park, scheduled to open in 2028.
