ARTafterDARK gives props to all that is made in Hawai‘i—especially the artwork in Artists of Hawai‘i 2011.

Contemporary art—island style—is on view in Artists of Hawaii. Meet some of the artists in Gallery 28.

Then see Hawai‘i art from another time, as well as New York artist Darren Waterston's 21st-century views of Pele in the John Dominis and Patches Damon Holt gallery—open for this ARTafterDARK only. 

Our current artist-in-residence is Robert Reed, and he wants you to play his installtion Paradise: Lost and Found—it's a mini-golf course, with a big meaning. (Gallery 30)

1) FREE: The Pro Park Parking Lot behind the Art Center at Linekona, entrances on Beretania and Young streets 

2) FREE: Street parking on Beretania and Kinau Street from 6 p.m.

3) FREE: Academy Staff Parking Lot at 1035 Kinau St., diamondhead of Victoria Street 

4) $5 at the First United Methodist Church Parking Lot on the corner of Beretania and Victoria streets. NOTE: lot closes promptly at 10 p.m.
