The 2016 Hawaii Burlesque Festival & Revue kicks off with an ultra-glamorous night of classic burlesque! Step back in time as you slip into a glittering night of vintage elegance.
Hosted by the incomparable Hunter Down, the dashing “Talking Man” for the evening, “The Aloha Follies” will feature a star-studded cast of veteran acts and up-and-coming ingénues! Feast your eyes on a menagerie of delights in the form of ethereal feather fan dances, classic naughty bump-and-grind stripteases, bewitching boa manipulations, beautiful bubble dances and more, set to a soundtrack of seductive jazz and blues.
Vintage/retro attire suggested and desired, but not required! Dress up in your finest vintage attire of days past—any era will do! We welcome all jazz babies, flappers, slick suited hepcats, 1930’s Dapper Dans, 40’s vamps, 50’s bombshells, 60’s mad men, and whatever else you can dream up! What’s old is new again at “The Aloha Follies!”
