Get ready to LOL your pants off! See live performances featuring local comedians along with live music and laugh-out-loud videos. The Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival is an annual two-day event featuring original comedy by local and off-island creators, plus live music and educational workshops geared towards writers, performers, and producers interested in a career in comedy.

First premiered in 2015, The Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival was founded by local Kaneohe girl turned professional actor, Kimee Balmilero. While living in NYC and Los Angeles for 15+ years, Kimee fell in love with improv and sketch comedy. She studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade and performed in Los Angeles with several comedy groups including the sketch team Drug Puppy. After making the decision to move back home to Hawaii, Kimee was certain she didn't want to abandon comedy. So brainstorming began and BOOM...The Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival was born!
