Elias Martin

Elias MARTIN is the founder and owner of CollectingJapanesePrints.com and a member of the Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan. With over twenty-five years of professional experience as a dealer, curator, and educator, he has built important private collections and placed works in notable public institutions. He is also a board member of the Japanese Art Society of America (JASA). He specializes in Japanese woodblock prints from the ukiyo-e, shin hanga, and sōsaku hanga traditions, as well as Japanese postwar painting, and he is passionate about educating both clients and the public about these art forms. As a collector, he has amassed one of the most significant collections of sōsaku hanga, including the largest private holdings of works by Onchi Kōshirō.
