The Hawai‘i Watercolor Society hosts its annual Open Show, with juror Katherine Love, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Honolulu Museum of Art. With over 100 entries from local, neighbor islands, and mainland artists, Love selected 25 original works of art to feature showcasing the best in watercolor painting with diverse techniques.
Hawai‘i Watercolor Society strives to present watermedia as a vital, enduring, and expressive medium, through education and exhibition.
Reception: Tuesday October 24 • 6–8pm
Open to the public, the reception will have commentary by juror Katherine Love and Hawai‘i Watercolor Society president Carol Moore presenting awards.
Exhibition hours: Weekdays • 8am–6pm
