Fragment of labors of Heracles sarcophagus. Marble fragment, irregular shape, high relief, depicting 5th Labor of Heracles: dressed with skin of lion of Nemea, shooting arrows at birds of the Stymphale Lac, Arcadia. Male figure, bearded, nude except for lion skin worn as a hood and cape, knotted on chest. Moving and facing right with left hand extended holding bow, right hand clutching arrow end and bow string. Missing: left leg above knee; right leg below knee; background wedge, left side, center.
