ʻUmeke Poi (poi bowl)

Poi bowl (ʻumeke) of kou. Dark wood with light areas extending over much of the surfac. Large piece insere to make bottom; two small dovetail patches to fasten it to bowl; 12 miscellaneous paches elsewhere. Round with rounded bottom and sides ta rise so that they are almost straight at rim.
