About this Class:

Did you last pick up a paintbrush in grade school? Do you want to make art but are afraid you'll embarrass yourself? This class is a place to play, experiment and get reacquainted with the basics of art materials without having to focus on a specific medium or skill. A wide sampling of media—drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, papier-mâché, and collage—will give you a taste of the possibilities. Each week's projects will give you a chance to exercise your imagination and explore new techniques. No experience required!

The class will visit the museum galleries to study the collection for inspiration and to learn about art-making processes.

All supplies included.

No class Oct 9 & Nov 13
