Workshop / 4 sessions / $120 / Sat 4-8pm & Sun 10am-4pm / Feb 8, 15 & 9, 16
Learn the ancient art of shippo (“seven treasures”) to produce works with jewel–like enamel color on a base of metal or ceramic. Projects include small boxes and accessories. Experienced students may have a chance to participate in an exhibition in Tokyo. Silver clay works well with enamel colors to create jewelry art. + $30 supply fee paid to instructor.
